How to order the repair service?

• This is a repair service for your original vehicle unit.
• You will need to remove the faulty module from your vehicle and arrange a courier shipment to our service centre. Customers outside Poland are responsible for arranging and paying for shipping to our service centre and for the return shipment after the repair. Please send the unit to:

• Alternatively, you can visit our service centre in Rumia, Poland, and have the unit removed at our premises (Rumia, ul. Pomorska 17B).
• Orders are processed during our standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM).
• Once your order has been processed, we will contact you by e-mail with the necessary shipping information.

• All modules undergo thorough testing on our specialist test bench using the CAN bus system.
• The unit is inspected and verified to ensure proper operation after the repair.
• 2-year warranty on the repair service!

IMPORTANT: Customers outside Poland must arrange and pay for the shipment of the unit to our service centre and the return shipment after the repair.

How much does the repair cost?

The repair cost depends on the type of fault. The exact cause of the problem can only be determined after the unit has been inspected at our service centre. Therefore, when you send us your unit, you receive a free diagnosis and repair quotation. You can then decide whether you would like us to proceed with the repair.

Common faults:

• Message on the display: Bootloader active

• Black screen – no response when pressing the power button.

• CD changer operates loudly when the system starts; the Media tab is inactive and the disc cannot be inserted or ejected.

• In the Bluetooth tab, only the message “Bluetooth Audio is starting...” is displayed.

• The CD/DVD drive does not read discs.

• The navigation map does not appear. Instead, the message “Navigation is starting. Please wait...” is displayed.

• Loud fan noise coming from the centre console immediately after switching on the ignition.

• “Anti-theft protection active. Please visit a Mercedes-Benz authorised service centre.”

• The navigation displays the message “To activate navigation, please insert a data carrier (DVD/memory card/USB drive).” After inserting the media, the system detects it and displays “Install the following media (DVD/memory card/USB drive)? ... version of the inserted update...”. After selecting “Yes”, the message “Map update is not possible. Please refer to the information in the owner's manual.” appears.
